  • Metair was formed in 1948, and since 1964 has been a key part of the automotive supply chain in South Africa.
  • The group manages a portfolio of 10 key companies largely based in South Africa, while it distributes products to most countries on the African continent.
  • Metair companies have received many awards over the years, amongst others; Achievement Awards for Cost, Toyota Supplier Achievement Award, Best Technologic Battery Brand in Turkey and Best Supplier in the Romanian automotive industry.
